The current Hazcom standard requirements and how these requirements related to a specific client will be reviewed.
The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (Hazwoper) program is mandated to protect workers at designated hazardous contaminated sites. These extensive regulations ensure safety and health protection of site workers and surrounding public.
Proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices and verify procedures safeguard workers from the release of uncontrolled energy. Our class will describe practices and procedures necessary to safely and compliantly disable machinery or equipment.
Compliance with the OSHA Respiratory Standard will discuss how to avert illnesses (acute and chronic) to employees requiring protection. This class will discuss and demonstrate the requirements for respiratory protection for workers.
We will review and educate responsible employees on the applicability, inspection, and spill control procedures and requirements, including required local emergency contacts information requirements. We will additionally prepare your specific Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure Plan (SPCC), if requested.
